The visit of the cave will allow you to discover a beautifull site,the area where the barytine was extracted.

The mountain is located near the village of Saint-Fabien,at about 20 kilometers from the city of Rimouski and 85 kilometers from the city of Rivière-du-Loup.We get access to the site by passing by the first street of the village.You have to pass under a small viaduct that will lead to the "Premier rang"From the west direction,we go to the gravel road,it's a little bit before the actual C.R ranch inc.On the left you will see the mine road.This road will take you directly to the old mine.

To get there easily,we suggest that you take the entry number 3 (Echinord).See the actual map:
